ok, as promised my interview with Layla! But before I give you the fun facts, I thought I might give you a little history. If you are familiar with Layla and Kevin, of The Lettered Cottage, (and who isnt ) This may make sense, if not, your probably not a member of the blog world. I have known Kevin and Layla for going on 9 years now. We became acquainted through my business partner Josh Moates, my partner at Kim Box Photography and Indie Film Lab, and he is partners with Kevin at Shoot Fly Shoot. Josh and Kevin were in a band together in their previous lives, and I had the great opportunity to work with them at our photography studio. The original lettered cottage was only a few houses up the street from our home.
It has been so fun to watch them venture out, follow their dreams and create such an amazing following. What you see is what you get with these two. They are genuine, and humble, and amazingly creative and talented.
I thought it might be fun to ask Layla a few lighthearted and fun questions…
1. If you were an animal, what would you be? A kitty cat, of course! They’re my favorite!
2. Whats your favorite color? Blue. No, green! No, blue! No, green! (you get the idea) 
3.Whats your favorite drink? I don’t drink it anymore, but it used to be 80% Diet Coke mixed with 20% Cherry Coke. YUM! (I’m 100% water these days, wah wah wah.)
4.Whats the last book you read? The Connected Child, by Kathryn Purvis.
5.Whats the last movie you went to see? The Intenrship
6.Whats your favorite song? Whoa. That’s waaaay too hard to narrow down! 80′s rock and pop are my favorite types of music though.
7.If you could be any fictional character who would you be? Garfield springs to mind. (Must be an 80′s/cat thing.)
8.If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you want to play the lead role? Hmmm. Maybe Jennifer Aniston or Sandra Bullock?
9.If someone wrote a biography about your life, what should the title be? Happy Girl 
(I just looked down and saw those two words on the bracelet I’m wearing right now- ha!)
10.Describe your self in three words. Weird. Happy. Passionate.
11. What is one important thing you do everyday? Smile!
12.What is your favorite quote? Again- waaaaay too hard to narrow down! I love SO many! “Breathe it all in. Love it all out.” is definitely one of my top favs, though.
13. What is your best piece of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. Go with your grin! DO the things that you’re most smiley/passionate about!
15. What is your typical daily Routine? I’m sort of anti the “R” word, so I tend to mix things up from day to day- LOL! 
16. Name three things, besides Kevin, that make you happy. Cartoon-y white clouds against a super blue sky, my front porch, and an empty page.
